Ramzi Hibri is a Director of Photography, Producer, and Creative Director based in Beirut and Berlin.
Feature films lensed by Ramzi have screened internationally, including the Forum at the 69th Berlinale, Dublin Film Festival, Montreal International Festival, Arab Film Festival, and East End Film Festival. He won Best Editor of a Short Film at the Madrid International Film Festivel for Le Pain by Meryl Murman in 2014, and was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography at the Lonely Wolf: London International Film Festival for the film Stove, by Jad Andari.
He has worked as a creative director for Dina Kamal and Barakunan Publishing, the latter of which he co-founded. He has also directed campaign materials for the brands CSB-World and Bokja Design Studio.
Since 2014, Ramzi Hibri has focused on micro-budget feature filmmaking by combining the roles of Production Designer and Director of Photography on many of his projects, working intimately with the director and extremely minimal crews. His upcoming film, The Bull, by director Jad Andari, is such an example- it is a docufiction about a gang war between two families from the secretive Druz community of Mount Lebanon.
